The best cookies on this side of heaven. You will taste goodness in every bite. Our cookies are made from scratch using reciepes passed down from generations of great bakers. We use the finest ingredients with no persevatives added. Show someone special that you are thinking of them or treat yourself in our delicious sweet indulgence. These are certainly not your ordinary cookies.
Our cookies come in a Dozen (12 cookies) each dozen is packaged nicely in a cello bag and tied with a raffia ribbon and packed in a box. Each cookie is approx 3-31/4 inches in diameter and weighs nearly 2 lbs. These are some large cookies.
Grandma Delia's TeaCakes
You are in for a treat. These are made from my great grandmother Delia's recipe its nearly over a 150 years old. These cookies were so special in my family and remain dear to my heart, hence the name. These are hand rolled the old fashion way. We use the finest ingredients and crack every egg by hand. No perservatives added. These will certainly bring back memories of your grandma.

The History of: The Tea Cake was introduced by the Colonies by the British, who served sweet cookies or cake with afternoon tea or with the more formal high tea later in the day, says a Atlanta based food editor and teatime historian Millie Coleman. During the 1800s, in the regions of the south with strong Scots-Irish and British background, the tea tradition carried on, except that the standard recipe became more of a sweet cookie. Over time throughout the South, many southerners adopted this food as their own.
History behind our Tea Cake recipe was passed down from my great grand mother Delia. The recipe is over a 150 years old. Grandma Delia (Delia Fatheree Zachary) was of a dark complexion and tall. She was a slave as her duties were to work the fields, but not far long that word got back to the plantation owner that Delia was some cook. He brought Delia in as the permanent cook until the day she was freed. Guest would often drop by just to get a taste of Grandma Delia's Tea Cakes..."There Is Goodness In Every Bite".
